This cellar door is one of the closest to Penola and is within easy walking distance of town (at a leisurely pace, it took us around 20 minutes from the centre of town). If driving it is directly off the paved highway

The cellar door is set amongst gardens, with views out to vineyards to the north

The cellar door has a cosy feel with exposed brick walls, wood trims and there are some beautiful wood sculptures. There are also some great photos on the walls, especially the one's of their goats!

We had one of the owners of the winery so he had an excellent knowledge of the winemaking, vineyards and other products

This is a nice family run winery with an interesting story, including hearing how they use the goats to clean up the vineyards after pruning and picking!
They also have a couple of events per year and offer a really cool day where you can help pick and make a blend (first come first served - fees apply). We also noted that they had a Tesla charge point near the carpark. |
