Do you remember the first winery you ever visited? 🤔
Well, while not the first visited, for us @tahbilkwinery in the Nagambie Lakes region of Victoria was the very first winery we reviewed after setting up cellardoorscore.com and we thought it time to head back and revisit our beginnings. Thankfully, it was as fantastic as we remembered, with their “2 door” rating being reaffirmed 👏👏🍷
With its origins dating back to 1860 Tahbilk is one of Australia’s most historic family owned wineries and a visit here is definitely like stepping back in time. Home to over 200 hectares of vineyards specialising in Rhone varietals, Tahbilk has an interesting and extensive range of wines that you are welcome to try and, coupled with a number of fantastic ancillary experiences at the winery, you can definitely easily spend an afternoon (or more) here.
