To "Cellarbrate": Fabulous welcoming team, many facets to the visit including a fantastic art gallery, elegant tasting spaces and beautiful sherries with generous tasting and tapas, Dom Hidden Gem awarded.

To "Wine about": Nothing, however it is worth noting that this winery only produces higher end sherry which is priced accordingly

In the town of Jerez, the entrance is situated around the back of the building which is off a main street. There is a good sign pointing the way on the corner of the main road

There is a small courtyard at the front door where there are approximately 4 spaces but these aren't owned by the bodega and you need to adhere to the parking limits (paid between 9am-1pm and 2pm-7pm). Alternatively you can walk from the centre of town in approximately 10 minutes

Large historic winery building behind large doors. You enter straight into a wonderful vine covered courtyard that provides an intimate outdoor space that is sometimes used for group tastings

Boutique

The building is a traditional sherry bodega, with large airy barrel rooms and the different buildings are joined by narrow walkways and cute courtyards. The winery also has a gallery that houses the owners many varied pieces of art from all over the world

Our tour guide had an amazing knowledge of the history of the winery, the pieces of art in the gallery, the philosophy of the winery and the wines themselves

There is so much to see here with the gallery and the various spaces that are used for entertaining guests. It is also interesting to hear how much work and aging goes into their wines. We note that this aging does tend to push the price of the visit and the wines into a higher price point, but if you have an appreciation for Sherry, you will find this visit very rewarding
