The Verdict
To "Cellarbrate": Nice "Tuscan Style" building, great outdoor setting that would be fantastic in summer, friendly cellar door manager To "Wine about": Relatively expensive, non- refundable tasting fee (although we found this policy to be fairly standard on Waiheke Island), no wine tasting flight available at time of visit How many bottles did we buy: 1 Suitable for: Couples, Groups and Families Visited May 2016 (weekday) |

There are a good number of gravel carparks, however this vineyard also has a popular cafe so parking availability around lunch time may be challenging
The cellar door is situated in an ivy covered old building with an outdoor area where you are welcome to take your tasting and enjoy the views over the olive grove and vineyards. This area reminded us of a beach club resort with lounges and low tables and umbrellas. It would be very popular in summer
Boutique
The tasting room is part of the restaurant, which is also draped in ivy and grape vines. It has a distinct indoor/outdoor Tuscan feel with all areas melding together
