Tasmania

Tasmania produces some excellent cool climate wines particularly pinot noir and sparkling.  Most of the cellar door's are smaller boutique establishments, but there are also some very large producers. Given it's location, the Tasmanian wine industry has made it as easy as possible to freight your wine home by having an arrangement whereby all of the wine you have collected along your journey, irrespective of which winery it is from, can be dropped off and freighted all at once from the last cellar door you visit....a fantastic idea that we have not come across elsewhere!
