The Verdict
To "Cellarbrate": Nice family run cellar door that would be lovely to visit on a warm day To "Wine about": Having to open and close the farm gate at the entrance to the property to get there, particularly in the rain (although would be a novelty for some) How many bottles did we buy: 3 Suitable for: Couples, Wine Lovers and Groups Visited August 2016 (weekday) |

The cellar door is in a galvanised tin shed attached to the winery. There was no garden setting to speak of at the entry, however the rear of the tasting area looks out over the vines and towards the mountains, which we think would be a fantastic view on a nice day

The shed that is the cellar door has several tasting tables within it with a tasting bench and a wonderful balcony with wine barrels that act as tasting tables. We understand that the stools are placed around the barrels in nice weather. They also have some old stage scenery across the room which provides and interesting backdrop

Yes, there were a couple of dogs roaming around the cellar door at the time of our visit
This cellar door was a bit cold the day we were there and although they do have patio heaters around some of the tasting tables we suggest you dress warmly on cold days
