There is ample parking
The cellar door is situated on the side of a hill and you can look up the hill towards the vineyards. There are nice lawns and sculptures surrounded by a native bush garden and we were even greeted by a number of kangaroos on the grounds

The cellar door is set up for seated tastings. It is very light and bright and looks over the lawns and vineyards. It is a reasonably modern room with a café style feel

The cellar door attendant, who was an assistant winemaker, had an excellent knowledge of the wines and the vineyard origin and the method of making. She was able to provide a great description of the wines, including some of the unique effects the local gum trees have had on the wine, as well as cellaring potential for the wines tasted
Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. She was also accommodating in that she was able to get a bottle of the latest Tempranillo to taste even though it wasn't officially due to be released until the day after our visit (it was delicious by the way!)

The tasting is conducted seated, we had a nice table in the corner in the sun looking out to the vineyards, kangaroos and beautiful old gumtree

This cellar door has the most amazing idea for entertaining their guests. They offer a self guided "gumboot tour" of the vineyard whereby they provide you a map and notes to follow the interesting features of the vineyard. It's called a gumboot tour as you need to wear the gumboots provided or have your own shoes disinfected (so as not to spread phylloxera). We found this to be a brilliant concept and one we had not come across elsewhere
