There are a good number of paved carparks but it is also used as the starting point for a tramping trail
This is the most modern looking cellar door in the Central Otago region, with it's huge, gently sloping roof designed to reflect the wings of a peregrine. The building is surrounded by landscaped gardens and lawns and you walk along the edge of a beautiful pond from the carpark to the the cellar door entry
Commercial
The tasting room is very modern with polished concrete floors, concrete walls and exposed beams. There are a lot of frosted glass accents including a huge window into the barrel room, which you can take a wander through

At one time there were 5 groups of people at the tasting bench, so we did have a little bit of wait at times, but the cellar door team kept up very well
Good knowledge of the wines and was able to redirect our tasting based on our thoughts of the first couple of wines, ie she was able to design the tasting around the styles we preferred
Really friendly and welcoming cellar door assistant

There are 3 different soil samples displayed in the tasting room to demonstrate the difference between the various vineyards. We were also able to take a stroll around the barrel room which is quite cool
