There are a good number of gravel car parks

The building is a white brick building with not much garden to speak of. There are a couple of rows of vineyards next to the carpark and some outdoor tables that are used for tastings when inside is overflowing on weekends

The room is white with slate floors and a long wood panel tasting bench. There is also an adjoining room with couches. There are lots of old Brokenwood bottles on display and an old vine has a prominent position in the corner of the room

This cellar door has an interesting tasting program, whereby they offer two similar wines side by side which displays the differences between two styles. We were also told that they are in the process of building a new cellar door, further back from the road. The pictures of the design look amazing, very modern and will be able to accommodate more people more comfortably.
We actually walked to this cellar door from our accommodation and there are a number of other cellar doors along the walking path on McDonalds Road so you can make a day of it and leave the car at home!
