This cellar door is located within the grounds of one of the most popular tourist attractions in Tasmania, MONA. You can arrive by paved road through the streets of Hobart or take the MONA Roma ferry. On this occasion we took the ferry, including the "Posh Pit" option, which was quite fun and a nice experience

Modern buildings built on a small peninsula that juts out into the Derwent River. There are beautiful native landscaped gardens surrounding the buildings with a large lawn area in front of a stage that is used in summer for concerts

Modern glass building, with the cellar door located on the second floor providing lovely views across the gardens and river. The tasting bench almost encircles the cellar door staff so you can pick the view that you would like to take in

We did our tasting just before lunch and had no wait, however after lunch they were very busy, but seemed to be handling the volumes well

The cellar door assistant was really friendly and happy to have a chat and gave us some great background around the winery

There is also a Moo Brew tasting at the cellar door. There is so much to do at this site that you could easily spend the whole day here and in fact they have accommodation on site so you could spend even longer here if you wanted to!
