To "Cellarbrate": Lovely setting, modern and sleek (but still cosy) cellar door with some great artworks, friendly and knowledgeable staff. 1 door awarded.

To "Wine about": There is a long gravel driveway, however it is in good condition

Well sign posted, paved road and gravel driveway approximately 1km long but in good condition. Note: Google Maps directed us to another of the driveways which is approximately 200 metres past the current cellar door driveway. We understand that the entry will, however, be moving to this second driveway in due course, so in the meantime just keep an eye out for the signs!

There is a brand new carpark currently being constructed which will be gravel with some well designed paths and gardens leading down to the cellar door

The cellar door is set in a native garden with large sculptures and a pretty view over the vineyards to the hills in the background

Boutique

Modern, light and bright building, with the cellar door located at one end and the restaurant at the other end. It has a bit of a Hamptons feel with white walls, blonde wood accents and a great central fireplace, but also quite modern with polished concrete floors and sleek tasting benches. The design has also taken full advantage of the fantastic views with large windows looking over the decked area to the sculptures, vines and hills beyond

Friendly, welcoming and confident. The cellar door assistant happy to have a chat about the stories behind the wine and wineries and was also able to make some good recommendations for other activities for our weekend

Restaurant on site, they also offer cheese platters at the cellar door that can be eaten outside in the gardens. We did not have the opportunity to dine here on this occasion, bit the dining space had a great feel to it

There are also some Heathcote Estate wines available for tasting as the winery is owned by the same team.
On weekends some of the single vineyard premium wines are opened for tasting.
Currently, the winery is donating $5 from each bottle of Rose sold towards breast cancer research, which we thought was a fantastic initiative
