To "Cellarbrate": Very pretty cellar door, with friendly staff. 1 Door Awarded

To "Wine about": Located in Broke which is a little way from central Hunter Valley, just pick a couple of other cellar doors in the area and make a day of it.

Paved road with a gravel driveway approximately 500m long, it was a bit rough the day we were there

There are a good number of car parks but these are also shared by the restaurant so parking may be more challenging at lunch time

Nice landscaped gardens with nice lawns and the beautiful Brokenback Ranges in the background. The entrance to the cellar door is through a nice Tuscan courtyard.

Commercial

The building is built using a rammed earth technique and this is on full display in the tasting room. The rammed earth walls and even the tasting bench in addition to the low light pendant lights, provides a really warm feeling to the room

Friendly cellar door assistant, made us feel very welcome and happy to share some of her experiences with Margan wines.

Not at the bench but there are a number of couches in the tasting room, the ones in front of the fireplace looked particularly inviting.
