Exstensive paved parking area behind the building although there is a popular restaurant on site so may get full around lunch time. Note the parking does flow in a one way direction
Very modern architecturally designed building set into the top of a very green hill that rises up from the front gate. It seemed nicer than ever before as the tree grove you walk through from the carpark has grown more and it feels like another world. There is now a deck at the front of the building overlooking the dam and the green lawns

No wait and they were reasonably busy. Our assistant was quite efficient at covering all the visitors at the bench and a second assistant came to help when the numbers increased
Great knowledge of the wines and vineyards
The man who served us was very accommodating and when he realised our interest in wine was real he allowed us to taste some of the more premium wines, free of charge

There is an interesting display of aromas in the tasting room to test your nose. They also informed us that they are about to open a new tasting room on the other side of the restaurant (which will be great as the current space can get quite crowded) and the current room will be converted to additional seating for the restaurant.
There is also an art gallery as part of the complex and you can sit and relax in a beanbag on the outside lawns |
