New ZealandNew Zealand is a really beautiful place with a few major wine regions as well as a number of other wineries scattered around the most unlikely of places.
New Zealand is widely renowned for it's Pinot Noir & Sauvignon Blanc, however there are also many other varietals produced here that we thought were fantastic. We have thoroughly enjoyed each of the regions we have visited so far, with each region providing something a little different to the next. While there are some large scale operations, the cellar doors in NZ tend to be smaller, more boutique producers, which can make the experience all the more fun. That said, a number of the cellar doors (big and small) also have some amazing dining options and are home to some of the best restaurants in their regions. Outside of food and wine, New Zealand offers something for everyone from the spectacular scenery to the amazing hiking tracks, to every adrenalin sport possible and we always look forward to returning! |
