The casa and grounds are located off a large square just out of Lamego. There is only a small sign on the gate and the entrance is actually off the square not through the gate into the garden area

Amazing old manor house set behind a 16th century façade that has been completely renovated. Now listed on Portugal's historic registry and operating as a food and wine experience and hotel, the house is set amongst beautiful grounds that includes fruit and nut trees that are also part of the tasting experience. There are also 2 associated Quintas in the Douro, but we did not visit these on this occasion
Boutique
The tasting room is light and also doubles as the dining room for the Casa. There is some beautiful antique furniture around the room and wonderful views over the lawns and gardens beyond
