The Verdict
To "Cellarbrate": Cute cellar door with lots of character and history, welcoming staff and a cosy open fire place. There are also good loyalty / club benefits To "Wine about": Despite the fire, still cold in the room the day we were there (although we note they aren't open through the coldest months!) How many bottles did we buy: 7 Suitable for: Couples, Groups, Families Visited Jan 2012 and May 2015 (midweek) |

A bit of lawn out the front but otherwise a basic setting with some quirky furniture set up each day on the verandah. Very historical weatherboard house with a number of old sheds out the back. A lot of character
Boutique
The old house has been opened out into one big room with a large tasting bench, some card tables and chairs and some very bright yellow couches in front of a roaring fire, which was very much needed the day we were there

The cellar door is right on a main highway, therefore a dog on a lead outside is ok
This place has a nice feel, with it's uneven floors and walls and the cheese board/box idea was great. The doors to the room were wide open the day we were there so even with the fire going it was pretty cold in the room, so be prepared when you visit!
