To "Cellarbrate": Beautiful setting, fantastic architecturally designed building with a modern, yet warm, décor and well thought out tasting spaces, excellent range of wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a number of dining options including a sensational hatted restaurant.  2 Doors Awarded

To "Wine about": Nothing, however we do note that this winery produces a seriously good range of wines which are priced accordingly

There is a large paved carpark, however there are a couple of dining options on site so may be busy around lunch time
Very modern, architecturally designed building, with a curved roof to reflect the nearby hills and views over the vineyards and up to the amazing homestead on the hill.  The building is surrounded by beautiful lawns and amazing sculptures

The expansive curved ceiling provides a very open concept that houses a fine dining restaurant, all day dining casual restaurant and the beautiful tasting area.  There is also an outdoor space as part of the casual dining option.  Despite there being a number of areas in the one building, the clever design is such that neither one of the areas imposes on the others, making for a great experience whichever option you choose.  The fit-out itself is very modern with polished concrete floors and wood and black metal accents, providing a beautiful balance of textures

There are 3 wine tasting experiences on offer where you can choose 5 or 10 wines from the different ranges

We had no wait time with the cellar door suitably staffed to deal with our group as well as a couple of other small groups that arrived during the course of our tasting
Excellent knowledge of the styles and vineyards.  Our cellar door host provided fantastic tasting notes on each of the wines and was able to answer all questions asked

No, but we understand that there are plans to build a winery close to the cellar door in the next 6-12 months after which tours may become available
Yes, stools are placed around the tasting bench, which makes for a very comfortable tasting experience.  There is also a private tasting room with seating that is available for small groups which can be booked by prior arrangement and the barrel booth's where the ultra premium tasting can be conducted

The amazing Ezard at Levantine Hill is housed within the space at the opposite end of the building from the tasting room.  We tried the 8 course degustation with matching wines and found every dish to be prepared and presented beautifully.  There is also a more casual all day dining option in the centre of the room and while we are yet to try this option, on seeing some of the food that came out, we look forward to returning to try this in the near future

No, however we understand the kids do tend to colour in the tasting place mats that have a pretty grapevine drawing printed on them!  There is also plenty of outdoor space for kids to enjoy themselves

This winery has an exceptional food and wine reputation and the cellar door and it's staff really complement this.  We look forward to visiting again once the winery facilities are on site, which will add another element to the experience.
We also note that there are facilities for helicopters to land just outside of the building if you are looking for another means of transportation!
