To "Cellarbrate": Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, unique tour experience including touring the grounds and vineyards on a golf buggy (weather permitting), beautiful views from inside the winery and tour is free (rare in Bordeaux!)Also one of the few chateaux open Sunday To "Wine about": As this is a free tour, understandably, only one of their two wines was on tasting, but it was the Grand Cru! There are a good number of car spaces for this chateau especially given their maximum group size is 7 people
Beautiful chateau as well as a number of out buildings built over several different periods leading to different architectural styles, situated on manicured lawns surrounded by large trees and the vineyards

The tasting room is at the back of a large courtyard to the side of the Chateau. The room is very traditional with exposed stone walls and floors, but is furnished with a very modern sculptural glass table and some really interesting spittoons. There is also a nice view into the barrel room

Excellent knowledge of the vineyards and history of the chateau and the winemaking process. Talked us through the organic and biodynamic processes being used at this vineyard, which was very interesting and included techniques we had not come across before

Yes (by appointment only), 1 tour offered in French or English. You are taken around the vineyards on a custom fitted golf buggy which gives you a unique view of the chateau, the winery and of the vineyards. You also walk through the vat rooms and the spectacular barrel rooms and cellar

This winery has achieved bio dynamic status and therefore the tour offered some interesting insights, such as how they are now using horses to work in the vineyard, rather than tractors and how they wrap the vines in circular trellising during growing season rather than pruning. An interesting point of difference from other winery tours
