Beautiful restaurant with both an indoor and outdoor offering. We sat on the patio and looked over the Te Mata peak and the lake. Food was delicious and of a fine dining standard. You can also order tasting platters in the cellar door to enjoy with your tasting

This is definitely one of the wineries visited in New Zealand that has the biggest WOW factor in terms of outlook (our "About" page photo was also taken here). We made the 6.7km walk from Havelock North to this winery on our first visit but we do note that there were a couple of places along the way where you had to walk on the side of the road.
