The final region on our Tassie Tour, the Coal River Valley certainly saw us off in style. A variety of wonderful cellar door experiences, fresh and creative cuisine and some amazing vistas made for a great end to this round of our Tasmanian cellar door reviews. You can read our reviews of this region at http://www.cellardoorscore.com/coal-river-valley.html and a big congratulations to Frogmore Creek on being awarded 2 doors (and also providing the best dining experience of our 2 week tour!) #tasmanianexperiences #coalriverwineries #cellardoor
Last week was spent sampling the delights of Tasmania's east coast. One of our favourite places to visit; the wines are beautiful, the seafood is beyond fresh and the scenery is breathtaking. While the cellar doors in the region may not have the glitz and glam of some of the bigger north or south coast wineries, the views are second to none, the experiences are warm and friendly and the wines certainly hold their own. You can read our reviews of this region at http://www.cellardoorscore.com/east-coast.html and a big congratulations to Gala Estate for being awarded 1 door. #TassieEastCoast #CellarDoor
Over the last couple of days we visited the beautiful Tamar Valley, full of autumn colours and delicious wines at wonderful cellar doors. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the 30 plus cellar doors but please refer to http://www.cellardoorscore.com/tamar-valley.html for the cellar doors we did visit and a big congratulations to Josef Chromy and Delamere who were awarded 2 and 1 door respectively.
